The new SMOK Vape Pen 22 is not on the shelves yet. Vapers can get ready to welcome one into their homes, however, by learning more and also by signing up to pre-order the device.
I’ll tell you everything I know about it today and add more to the details later as they become available if you aren't bored to tears with the constant stream of new releases. Meanwhile, here are a few tantalizing facts plus ideas for alternative vape pens if you just can’t wait.
SMOKTECH Vape Pen 22s
I have to say sometimes vape manufacturers lose the will to invent names and are extremely literal. Here is an example. The SMOK VAPE PEN measures 22 mm across.
You would know that by the name, though, since the only other application for that number would be watts. With a pen this size and the coil build below, you would be surprised by such low maximum wattage.

SMOK is selling this as a tube kit, atomizer and base combined. The base contains a built-in cell for convenience but the tank is detachable.
Your cell will stay charged for hours with a rating of 1650mAh. The matching tank appears large in pictures, probably more than 2 ml.
There is one button on the battery, flush like an EVOD, plus LED light battery indication and a screen-free, smooth exterior. There will also be a USB charging port somewhere on the product, either at the very bottom or opposite the button. A USB cord is provided.
Construction of the VAPE PEN 22 by SMOKTECH
SMOKTECH has built all of the metal parts of their Smok VAPE PEN 22 from stainless steel. The battery exterior and caps on the RBA have all been shaped from this non-corrosive and seriously strong metal.
Rebuild the tank with care as the tube is made from glass but the whole thing is meant for detaching and re-attaching parts so you can clean them all properly and ensure they are all looking and working right.
The whole thing connected in a single piece (battery and sub ohm tank) measures 105 mm long. There also appears to be an interruption in the tube-shape at each side, addressing the problem with rolling and glass tanks.
Sub Ohm Capacity
SMOK’s 22-mm vape pen is a sub ohm device. It comes with a 0.4-ohm coil installed plus a spare 0.4-ohm coil, both of them dual core and probably Kanthal or Nichrome.
There is a chance, however, that one of these could be TC-compatible so as to regulate the device; otherwise, there appears to be no way of doing this. Cap it all off with a black, insulated, wide bore drip tip.
